Prehistoric archaeological site “Vrci”

The archaeological site “Vrci” is located in the village of Mali Komor, in the municipality of Mače, on an elevated terrace, at about 180 m above sea level. The site was discovered during reconnaissance in 2015. g. On that occasion, on the southern and western positions of the site, on arable land, archaeological creations of irregular shapes were observed from which a large number of fragments of ceramic vessels, one fragment of a ceramic spoon, as well as a piece of home beautiful, were collected. Based on the typological-chronological analysis of movable archaeological material, the site can be dated to the Copper Age period, i.e. eneolithic.

Under the designation P-5066 it is listed as an immovable cultural asset – individually, legal status protected cultural property, classified as “profane architectural heritage”.
