Decree 5.VIII. 1994. The first director of the parish, Rev. Ivan Grudiček who takes over the parish the same month, 25. VIII.1994. This is the historic year of the first visit of Pope John Paul II to Croatia, which in Zagreb on September 11, 1994. Among others, he blesses the foundation stone for the new parish church in Zlatar Bistrica.
