Horse-drawn carriage in Marija Bistrica

For more than twenty years, the County Association of Horse Breeders Krapina has been organizing the traditional horse-drawn carriage in Marija Bistrica. The gathering of riders and carriages is at the railway station in Zlatar Bistrica and is heading towards the Bistrica Sanctuary.

The participants of vozoča participate in the blessing and mass celebration in the open-air church. Vozočašće cherishes the tradition of pilgrims who came to Zlatar Bistrica by train and then went to Mass in Marija Bistrica on foot or with carriages.
