Decisions on the appointment of members of the Tender Committee for the recruitment of directors in the Tourist Office of the Tourist Board Zlatni istok Zagorje from 12. September 2022, The Tourist Board of the Golden East of Zagorje Tourist Board announces
PUBLIC TENDER
for the employment of the Director in the Tourist Office of the Tourist Board Zlatni istok Zagorje – 1 executor, for a fixed period of 4 years
The candidate must meet the general requirements of the Labour Act (OG 93/14, 127/17, 98/19) and the conditions prescribed by the Ordinance on special conditions that must be met by employees in tourist boards (OG 13/22), as follows:
1. completed at least professional study or undergraduate university study,
2. at least two years of work experience in jobs corresponding to the level of acquired professional qualificationreferred to in point 1. this item, or one year of work experience in managerial jobs in tourism,
3. knowledge of a foreign language,
4. knowledge of working on a personal computer.
In addition to the above conditions, the candidate must also meet the condition that a final court judgment or a decision on a misdemeanor did not impose a security measure or protective measure prohibiting him from performing tasks in the field of economy, while this measure lasts. Before the start of work, the selected candidate will sign an appropriate statement confirming that he or she fulfils the stated condition.
In addition to the evidence of fulfillment of special conditions, when applying to the public tender, the candidate submits his proposal of a four-year work program of the tourist board, prepared on the basis of strategic documents relating to the area in which the Tourist Board of the Golden East of Zagorje operates.
The director of the tourist board is appointed by the Tourist Council on the basis of a public tender for a period of four years.
In addition to a written application to the competition (hand-signed) candidates must submit:
- curriculum vitae (signed in hand),
- a copy of the Identity Card,
- proof of completion of at least professional study or undergraduate university study (copy of the diploma),
- Proof of work experience:
a) proof of at least two years of work experience in jobs corresponding to the level of acquired professional qualifications or proof of at least one year of work experience in managerial positions in tourism (copy of electronic record or certificate of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute on applications and deregistrations to pension insurance from which pensionable service and professional qualifications are clear) and
b) confirmation of the previous employer, i.e. another document (copy of the employment contract, decision, etc.) from which work experience in the appropriate professional qualifications is visible, in what jobs and in what duration);
– certificate of passing the professional exam for work in a tourist office, if the candidate has passed the professional exam,
- proof of knowledge of a foreign language (copy of the corresponding certificate, certificate, certificate, certificate or index),
- proof of knowledge of working on a personal computer (a copy of the corresponding certificate, certificate, certificate or index or a handwritten statement on the knowledge of working on a personal computer),
- proposal of the four-year work program of the Tourist Board of the Golden East of Zagorje area, made on the basis of strategic documents relating to the area in which it operates (signed by hand).
Persons who submit incomplete and/or untimely applications or do not meet the requirements of the competition are not considered candidates.
On the official website of the Tourist Board of the Golden East of Zagorje (tzgzlatar.hr) will be published the time of interviews with candidates who meet the general and special requirements from the public tender, at least 3 (three) days before the interview.
A candidate who does not enter the interview will be deemed to have withdrawn the application to the public tender.
Applications to the public tender with the necessary documentation are submitted by registered postal mail within 8 (eight) days from the date of publication of the public tender in Večernji list, to the address: Tourist Board Zlatni istok Zagorje, Zagrebačka 3, 49250 Zlatar, with the indication: “Apply for a public tender –do not open”.
Candidates who meet the requirements of the public tender will be interviewed and, if necessary, tested for additional knowledge and skills.
The competition committee conducts administrative verification of received applications, conducts an interview with candidates who meet the requirements of the competition and proposes to the Tourist Council candidates for selection.
By applying for the competition, candidates agree that their personal data will be processed to the extent necessary and for the purpose of conducting the competition, by authorised persons to conduct the competition in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of the natural person with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 EC of 27.04.2016. (Official Journal of the European Union L119/1).
The Tourist Board of The Golden East of Zagorje reserves the right at any time to cancel this public tender, i.e. the right not to select any candidate, without the obligation to explain its decision and without any responsibility to the candidates.
